Sampdoria hasn't won in Cagliari since 2007. D'Aversa: "We want to break the tradition"
The Sampdoria coach charges his team: "Difficult game on a difficult field, but we want to achieve a result"

With these words Roberto D'Aversa, on the eve of Sunday's match at Unipol Domus, announced Sampdoria's determination to regain victory at Cagliari, which in Serie A has not lost at home against the Sampdoria since 2007, having obtained since then against the Genoese team six wins and five draws within friendly walls.
However, the Sampdoria coach speaks of a "difficult field" and a "difficult match". Indeed, of a "crossroads game" for the continuation of the championship of both teams.
Cagliari - D'Aversa points out -, despite being last in the ranking and still chasing the first three points of the season, cannot be underestimated because certainly "the team's value does not reflect the current ranking".
"We will try to achieve a result, with the utmost determination and the utmost commitment," added the Sampdoria coach.
D'Aversa will not be able to dispose of injured Damsgaard, but will find Verre and Gabbiadini, two attacking players who could be proposed from the first minute.
