No way, Cagliari at the Tardini won't be able to have the support of their fans, or at least of those from the province of Cagliari. The Regional Administrative Court of Emilia Romagna , a branch of Parma, has in fact rejected the appeal of the rossoblù club against the decision of the National Observatory on Sporting Events, which had prohibited the sale of tickets for residents in the province of Cagliari, after the accidents which took place two weeks ago in Pisa.

"An unjust and discriminatory decision for Cagliari", commented the patron Tommaso Giulini.

Cagliari, with a harsh press release, «expresses its disappointment. The club deems this provision completely incongruous and without foundation , as there are no conditions to speak of a justified alarm relating to public safety for Saturday's match at 2 pm". «It is a decision – concludes the note – which penalizes the Rossoblù fans in no uncertain terms and which discriminates Cagliari and all its people in no uncertain terms , eager to follow the team in large numbers even away at a decisive moment of the sports season. An absence, that of part of its people, which leaves all of Cagliari Calcio with great regret for a management that could certainly have been more attentive to the context and the case in point examined».
