Only one Cagliari player, Alessandro Romano, was named in Roberto Mancini's thirty-one squad for Italy's final two Nations League matches. The midfielder was retained after making his debut during the previous international break , where he made three appearances, finishing with an assist in the victory over Romania. Elia Caprile (already out of the September and October rounds) and Daniel Maldini (who was called up a year after his previous experience) were not included.

The national team will gather again on Sunday evening at Coverciano for the final two matches of the Nations League group stage. Italy, already assured of at least third place, is looking for more points to finish among the top two and thus secure a spot in the quarterfinals. Romano and his teammates will be in action next Thursday at the Meazza against France and on Sunday the 15th in Brussels against Belgium (both at 8:45 PM) .

These are all the players called up by Mancini, including Como midfielder Riccardo Cassano (born in 2009), Parma midfielder Simone Lontani (born in 2008), AC Milan striker Alphadjo Cisse (born in 2006) and Como striker Mattia Liberali (born in 2007) who have been called up for their first time with Italy.
