Matteo Marcenaro of Genoa will be in charge of Monday's match between Roma and Cagliari, with the rossoblù called to reverse the trend after the two consecutive defeats against Frosinone and Turin. On the other side, come the Giallorossi who, since De Rossi took over from Mourinho, have won two matches out of two. Marcenaro has already managed the Sardinians during the current championship, in the match lost 2-1 against Napoli last December 16th. In the past, he also refereed a 0-0 draw between Hellas and Cagliari in November 2021. He will be assisted by Valeriani and Pagliardini, while at VAR there will be Rosario Abisso from Palermo.
