In front of the public on special occasions, in the conference room of the former San Francesco Convent, the ceremony of awarding honorary citizenship to the popular television host Roberto Giacobbo was held, who attended - last August 12th - the inauguration of the new Mandas Historical Museum (MaHMu) illustrating the finds contained in the exhibition. The decision was taken by the city council in recognition of Giacobbo " for his constant and continuous promotion and dissemination of Sardinian history and identity ".

The community of Mandas, also grateful for the evening which saw the inauguration of the new archaeological museum itinerary, assigns honorary citizenship in recognition of the activity carried out in recent years in the promotion of the great Sardinian archaeological, historical, identity, naturalistic and landscape heritage ».
