"On the economy, Vannacci said: 'We can't even deviate too much from the parameters because then someone will pay the debt, the young people.' These are words that Monti or Draghi could have said. This is not the way to go. Criticism of the EU parameters is fundamental for those who want to save Italy, which is also why many disillusioned with his movement are joining us." This is what Marco Rizzo, leader of Italia Domani, said. He will be in Sassari on Friday, October 30th – in the San Francesco Conference Hall on Via Volontè – to meet with the defectors from Futuro Nazionale of the Sassari Committee 643. The news – Rizzo recalls – became a national issue last September: Futuro Nazionale's committee number 643, having lowered the flag of the general's party, had joined Italia Domani en masse .

"Sardinia marked the beginning of a veritable avalanche from one movement to another, even in other regions," comments Rizzo, who recalls that the meeting in Sassari will be an opportunity to take stock, with the presentation of the seven points of his sovereignist movement's program.

"On the international level," Rizzo explains, "we want a halt to arms shipments to Ukraine, an end to sanctions against Russia, and a withdrawal from the EU. On the economic front, the proposals include wage increases, tax cuts, protection for small and medium-sized businesses, a rejection of the digital euro, and constitutional protection for cash. On the social front, the program includes accessible public healthcare for all, tax exemptions on pensions, support for people with disabilities and caregivers, as well as measures for housing, family, and birth rates. Finally, on the issue of immigration, we want border controls and a real, not just a mere announcement, halt to immigration flows."
