Regionals, Solinas: «Continuity is needed for the future of Sardinia»
The president, in the end-of-year meeting at Villa Devoto, vindicates the work done. And on the next elections: «I am not a candidate but I am a candidate»"I am not a candidate, but I am a candidate."
The governor does not leave. Indeed, he would like to double: «I believe that the set of things done and projects launched are aimed at maintaining what is a consolidated practice, that is, continuity and stability in the Government».
Christian Solinas, in the end-of-year meeting at Villa Devoto, vindicated the work carried out in the legislature which is about to end : «Clearly there are necessary political discussions: it is a democratic fact. However, those who claim discontinuity take on the burden of requesting a change that has no precedent in the literature at the moment in Italy. A request for discontinuity for which in my opinion there are neither the conditions nor the reasons for requesting it by virtue of political or programmatic reasoning, but simply by a logic of dividing power. That is, it is necessary to put an extra flag because this flag must demonstrate a different organization of the percentages of the forces on the field. Electoral strength perhaps weighs, but it certainly does not measure an unproven and unprovable greater capacity for government. So overall I'm not the one who should reapply. Until the end of this legislature, I will be president of the Region with responsibility, trying to complete everything that has been done. Politics has the task of defining these paths."
So is he ready to run again? «I don't agree with Sardinia being used to rebalance national situations, I will oppose the rebalancing of the flags. When Truzzu, with whom relations are excellent, was candidate in Cagliari, FdI was at 4 percent, the League at 38 percent and was not opposed. Generally speaking, the definition of these paths has always been in the sense of continuity and stability of the government formula both in the Regions and in the Municipalities".
