The center-right summit on the Regionals has just begun but from the first statements it emerges that it will not be easy to find a unanimous summary on Paolo Truzzu.
Above all, the Psd'Az and the League remain firm in their positions on continuity with Christian Solinas as candidate for president. The governor himself declared that «the League and my party are for continuity, as is minister Tajani: let's see if there is any Roman news from FdI, but we don't know that there have been other discussions. Today I say that the more the center-right manages to confirm its civic and Sardinian vocation, the more chance it has of winning the elections."

League and FdI

Even the coordinator of the League Michele Pais confirmed that «for us the unity of the coalition with Solinas as president is fundamental». For its part, FdI reiterated through the coordinator Antonella Zedda and the deputy Gianni Lampis that «our position has not changed and the name that FdI will indicate is that of Paolo Truzzu». All the acronyms of the coalition were present at the table.

Forza Italia

Forza Italia coordinator Ugo Cappellacci explained that it is necessary to insist "on the unity of the coalition, that there is continuity or discontinuity with regards to leadership, we will see this during the table". And on Alessandra Zedda's possible candidacy as an independent: «An initiative that makes no political sense but is dictated by personal reasons. I hope he has the common sense to understand that we must always look at the objective, and if the objective is to bring home a result for the centre-right, this is not the path."

The great center is split

Meanwhile, the newborn Grande Centro has already split. Giovanni Satta of Alleanza Sardegna made it known that «Alleanza Sardegna, after the exit of Azione, considers its experience within the group of the so-called big center to have been prematurely consumed, where unfortunately the inconclusive hegemony of someone has brought this project, born under the best intentions, to the failure of both the idea and positive intentions, which remained such only on paper".

«The three councilors Satta, Mula and Schirru», he continues, «together with their members and supporters, took this decision during a meeting held in Cagliari this morning. Alleanza Sardegna will therefore go to the regional table independently and will also attempt to form a new council group for the remaining 50 days that separate us from the regional ones".
