The first stop on the tour in southern Sardinia of the leader of the 5 Star Movement Giuseppe Conte, who has been on the island for two days to push Alessandra Todde's candidacy for the presidency of the Region, was at the San Benedetto market in Cagliari.
No jokes for the journalists but a fairly warm welcome from supporters, customers and operators. Conte took numerous selfies and tasted the typical local products: in the fish section he was also offered bottarga.
For the boxers it was also an opportunity to express their concern in view of the transfer from the historic San Benedetto building to Piazza Nazzari, which continues to accumulate delays and fuels the operators' anxiety.
After leaving the capital, Conte and Todde moved to Quartu, where they are expected at the Campagna amica market organized by Coldiretti in Pitz'e Serra.
