Regional elections: troubled waters in the centre-right
The Sardinians to Fratelli d'Italia: «You have no right to convene the coalition»Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Fratelli d'Italia has no right to bring together the center-right regional table in view of the next regional elections. This is the position of the Psd'Az which, for this reason, will not be present at the summit tomorrow which was convened at Palazzo Tirso by the coordinator Antonella Zedda after the rejection of the re-nomination for the outgoing president Christian Solinas .
According to Antonio Moro , president of the Sardinians - who also speaks on behalf of the national secretary and governor - this is a competence still in the hands of the Quattro Mori party. And, indeed, "the secretary is fully available, as leader of the centre-right-civic-Sardist coalition in government of the Region, to proceed immediately with convening the coalition meeting".
Last Saturday Fratelli d'Italia said "no" to the possibility of Solinas re-nominating (supported by the League) because "the conditions are no longer there". Therefore, in agreement with the national leaders of the party, the coordinator "assumed the burden of convening the Sardinian coalition table".
At Palazzo Tirso, in Cagliari, all the other political forces of the coalition will be present: Forza Italia, Reformatori, the Big Centre, the UDC, Idea Sardegna. Except the League.
