Regional Council: LeU-Articolo1-Demos-Possibile is born with Orrù and Caddeo
The new formation will be the second most numerous in the opposition after the Democratic Party
The LeU group in the Regional Council passes from three to five members and will take the name of LeU-Article 1-Possible-Demos.
The two new entries are Laura Caddeo , elected with the civic list Noi La Sardegna, and Maria Laura Orrù , elected with the Sardinia list in the Municipality. Both leave the Progressives group.
The new formation will be the second most numerous in the opposition after the Democratic Party. In fact, the Dem Roberto Deriu will continue to be part of it, who at the beginning of the Legislature had given a technical support to allow Eugenio Lai and Daniele Cocco to set up a council group. Deriu will remain "to maintain a bridge of dialogue with the Democratic Party", said the group leader Lai.
"It is an operation that starts from afar", explained Laura Caddeo (Demos) who will be deputy leader, "the Legislature is not over and we must ensure that in the remaining 18 months no bad laws are made".
According to Maria Laura Orrù “it is a political path for the construction of a Sardinian project”.
