Green light from the Regional Council (28 yes, 14 no) to the budget adjustment of over 300 million. This is the first financial intervention of this legislature . But a second variation of half a billion should arrive in the Chamber already in October, in any case after the parity judgment of the Court of Auditors. Agriculture, transport, healthcare and personnel are the most important expenditure items. About fifteen million have been allocated to deal with the drought (30 in total for agriculture).

On the transport front, the most important measure is the 30 million measure for strategic investments by the Region in the airport transport system. Healthcare: 5.4 million to private individuals accredited to reduce waiting lists. On the topic of personnel, the amendment by Fausto Piga (FdI) for the repeal of the law on staff, a measure approved in the last legislature and highly criticized by the opposition at the time, caused discussion. The same one that supports Alessandra Todde today and no longer seems to be against the staff. Hence Piga's provocative corrective.

«This topic doesn't worry us, because we don't have any armchair factories to protect - the councilor for Personnel Mariaelena Motzo explained in the Chamber - on the basis of the current law we have filled some figures in the cabinets of the departments, but we have no problem in saying that we will think about a possible change to the law. What must be clear is the mission of this council, which is to spend public resources rigorously. With this sense of responsibility we will work to ensure that the regional administration works efficiently and without waste."
