"With Councilor Francesco Spanedda we have two radically different visions of approach to the system of local authorities and local democracy". For these reasons, the former president of Anci Emiliano Deiana (Pd) has resigned as consultant to the Councilor for Urban Planning.

"Reasons of an exclusively political nature and which concern the posture of the regional system towards the municipalities, provinces and metropolitan cities", he adds. The decision to resign dates back to Friday, when Deiana had with Spanedda "a clarifying meeting in which we exchanged mutual personal esteem".

Immediately afterward he informed the secretary of the Democratic Party Piero Comandini and the president Giuseppe Meloni. Now, «as far as the elements of merit are concerned, I will entrust my positions to the statutory bodies of the party since they are the result of documentary work - of analysis and proposal - that I believe can be useful to the Democratic Party, to the management group and to the council group».
