Almost 400 thousand euros are coming to promote the Sardinian language .

The regional council allocated them, divided as follows: 100 thousand euros were assigned to the Maria Carta Foundation for operating expenses and institutional activities.

Another 100 thousand at the Camillo Belleni Institute, which organizes training courses in Sardinian language, conferences in the linguistic and cultural field, publishes texts and research in the same field and deals with the recovery and cataloging of thematic texts.

Again: the Andrea Parodi Foundation - which organizes the Andrea Parodi Music Festival for known and new talents and carries out other activities for the dissemination of the artistic and human message of Parodi and of the Sardinian tradition - will be allocated 50 thousand euros for its own institutional purposes. Forty thousand euros will then go to the Sardinia Foundation for the organization of conferences on Sardinian language and culture.

Finally, 100 thousand euros are reserved for the Chenàbura Association to support research activities and activities on the relations between the Jewish community and Sardinia, also through the production of docufilms, the realization of conferences and cultural events and the publication of monographs on 'topic.

"There was the need to standardize the management of contributions different by type, but essentially intended to finance the institutional activities of private subjects deemed worthy of a specific contribution - specified the regional councilor for education Andrea Biancareddu - any materials produced with the regional contribution must bear a wording showing that this activity was carried out with the contribution of the Region of Sardinia ".
