Rally Italia Sardinia, Ogier in command after the first day

The Frenchman Sebastien Ogier ended the first day of the 21st Rally Italia Sardegna in command, valid as the sixth round of the WRC World Championship.
The multiple Toyota Yaris Gr Rally1 Hybrid champion won today's first and third special stages (Osilo-Tergu) and finished with a 3"4 advantage over Tänak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1 Hybrid), who made the first pass on the Sedini -Castelsardo.
Third was the Spaniard Sordo from Hyundai (33”2), ahead of Katsuta's Toyota Yaris Gr Rally1 (34”5). Only fifth was Neuville, current championship leader, 36"6 behind but winner of the last special stage of the day. First of the Italians was the Aci Team Italia crew, Daprà-Guglielmetti (Skoda Fabia Evo) at 3'55”7.
Tomorrow morning the Tempio Pausania (12.03 km, 7.41 and 10.41) and the Tula-Erula (22.61 km, 8.49 and 11.49) are scheduled to be repeated twice, then the double laps on Monte Lerno-Monti di Alà (25 ,33 km, 14.05 and 17.05) and Coiluna-Loelle (14.53 km, 15.05 and 18.05).
