"Dear Union,
on 15 October Alitalia will cease to exist. Compagnia ITA took charge of a small number of routes.
I wrote to this company for information on flights to and from Cagliari / Rome Fiumicino.
The ITA company replied as follows: "Dear Customer, thank you for contacting us. ITA is not the assignee of the territorial continuity calls and cannot automatically detect these routes when Alitalia in Extraordinary Administration ceases operations. ITA, confirming the 'attention to the territories served by connections in territorial continuity, will follow with interest the evolution of the affair and is available to evaluate participation in the public tenders that the competent Authorities will want to announce for the assignment of the routes operated with public service obligations ”.
In the meantime, Ryanair has significantly increased the cost of flights which are prohibitive for those who are forced to travel for health or for work, for example.
I, travelers, wonder what we should do at this point and when precise answers can be given to our questions ".
