Giorgia Puliga doesn't stop anymore. After the success of "La Venere di Milis", a short film that marked her debut behind the camera, as part of the project produced by the cultural association Cooworking 001 and directed by Gian Paolo Vallati, the talented Oristano native scores another coup.
The twenty-four-year-old is among the seven Italian directors awarded at the Cefalù Film Festival for their films on the condition of women. With the film “Terra Fidelis”, which tells the story of the growth path, challenges and resilience of women in the face of social pressures and cultural expectations, Giorgia Puliga won the “Woman and Social Change Award”.
"The short film - we read in the motivation - explores the deep bond with the native land and the path of those who face their dreams and disappointments with authenticity, bringing to light the dilemma between ambition and the need to belong to something real". In January, "Terra Fidelis" was awarded in Piedmont as "Best social short" at the Teatro Cinema Chivasso festival, dedicated to the under 30s.
A new step in the career of the young Oristano actress who has been admitted to the Cinema Academy, at the Experimental Center of Rome.
