Masterpieces of music in the seven events scheduled, from April to June, for the 2025 edition of “ Musicando per la città ”, the classical, jazz and pop music festival , organized by the Musicando Insieme Association, curated by the artistic director Donatella Parodi, in collaboration with the "F. De Andrè" Civic Music School.
From Wednesday 30 April to Saturday 21 June, music will enter the most suggestive locations of the city of Porto Torres, seven concerts for a unique “excursion” that starts from the Civic School of Music and arrives at the Antiquarium Turritano National Archaeological Museum until reaching the thousand-year-old Basilica of San Gavino – Atrio Comita to conclude with the final concert of the Festa della Musica.
A musical journey in stages with the first appointment scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 8:00 p.m., at the civic school in via Pacinotti which hosts the pianist Olesya Romanko, protagonist of the performance entitled “ La musica baroque nei film d'autore ” and interpreter of music by Rameau and Bach. Born in Temirtau (Kasakhstan), Olesya Romanko moved to Italy some time ago and continued her academic education with great dedication, graduating with top marks from the “L. Canepa” Conservatory in Sassari. In addition to her concert activity, she is involved in piano teaching. She is currently a teacher at the Istituto Comprensivo 2 “Don Antonio Sanna” in Porto Torres, where she passionately follows the training of new generations of pianists. Sunday, May 11 at 8:00 p.m., in the chapter house, in the Atrio Comita of the basilica it will be the turn of the “Songs of Renaissance”, with Pina Muroni on vocals and loop station and Luca Sirigu on piano and keyboards. The Aliquo Terrarum trio with Battista Giordano on piano, Donatella Parodi on viola and Gilberto Ganassi as narrator will follow on Saturday 17 May at 9 pm, in the setting of the Antiquarium archaeological museum; guitarist Marco Carta will take to the stage of the Romanesque church on Saturday 24 May at 8 pm; we return to the archaeological museum on Saturday 31 May at 8 pm for a concert with Marco Ligas on violin and Stefano Mancuso on piano. Sunday 8 June at 11:30 am again at the civic music school, the space that hosts the duo Federico Sanna on flute and Luca Sirigu on piano. The event will end on 21 June at 9 pm with the traditional Festa della Musica, with a location yet to be defined, a musical evening that will see various artists and teachers from the civic music school take turns.
