"I try to fly": homage to Domenico Modugno at Parodi
After the success with "Hamlet take away", the actor Gianfranco Berardi returns to the theater
Homage to the singer Domenico Modugno , to his life as an artist and his extraordinary interpretations.
On Friday 22 May, at 9pm, the La Camera Chiara association hosts the show "Io prova avola - homage to Domenico Modugno " by the Berardi Casolari company at the Parodi Theater in Porto Torres.
After the success with "Hamlet take away" in autumn 2022 the actor Gianfranco Berardi returns to the theater with a work that goes beyond the theatrical show, pure poetry between story, music and dance.
It is an original drama that tells the life of one of the many young people who grew up in the province and are ready, on the wave of myth, to face any vicissitudes to realize their dream of becoming artists. And it is precisely through the description of the expectations and deceptions suffered that the journey between comic episodes of provincial reality and alienating metropolitan experiences is articulated.
