Fra Beppe Giunti carries out various educational and teaching activities, including training ones in associations that operate in the San Michele prison of Alessandria.
The book that recalls the title “Letter to a Teacher” by Don Milani benefits from the collaboration of Marina Lomunno, a professional journalist , who has always been interested in prison problems. Testimonies and reflections on school written by people who have experienced prison , who collaborate with justice and who, thanks to education, have rebuilt their existence. School without physical walls and without cultural walls. School as the main and indispensable tool for defeating mafia-type crime. Important pages for those who deal with prison, but also for those who work in the school environment. Essential for those who have minors and disadvantaged people in their care.
"If you don't fix the school , the Camorra will always win because the Camorra is afraid of the school : the Camorra lives in silence, the school teaches words." Father Giuseppe Giunti, a Conventual Friar Minor, has been accompanying collaborators of justice who have decided to give their contribution to the fight against organized crime in the juvenile prison of San Michele di Alessandria for years. He has published numerous books including "Padre nostro che sei in galera", "Donne che sguardo in faccia. Il coraggio delle wives dei principi".
