"Gravitational waves, ET and starry sky": meeting between experts in Ittiri

The Municipality of Ittiri with the collaboration of the Pro Loco and AIF (Association for the teaching of physics) promote the event entitled "Gravitational waves, Einstein Telescope and starry sky in Ittiri", a journey into a 14 billion year long history , scheduled for Monday 5 August at 9pm, at the Center for the Arts.
Speakers will be Matteo Tuveri (Unica and INFN Cagliari) and Arianna Steri (Unica and INFN Cagliari). They will talk about the journey around the island, starting from the Barbagia of Lula, Bitti and Onanì and from the future Einstein Telescope gravitational wave detector which could find a home in the Barbagia area, where a young physicist projects himself and his land, Sardinia, towards the origin of the cosmos, discovering the oldest gravitational waves in the universe, and an island at the scientific center of the world.
After the monologue by Matteo Tuveri, theoretical physicist, scientific communicator and science communicator, he will dialogue with Arianna Steri, chemical engineer and doctoral student at the University of Cagliari, researcher at INFN Cagliari. Finally, the speech by Gian Nicola Cabizza, physicist and scientific communicator, entitled "Stars, constellations between science, myths, history and tradition".
