More news for the TV series "Don Matteo".
After the announcement of farewell to the set by Terence Hill , who in the next episodes - broadcast on Rai 1 in 2022 - will leave room for Don Massimo, the priest played by Raoul Bova, there is another new entry.
This is Giancarlo Magalli, who will play the role of the bishop: he will have a central role, that of the protagonist's advisor who will have to improvise as an investigator.
The presenter therefore faces this new adventure, after the end of his experience at “I Fatti Vostri”.
Twenty years ago the conductor was in contention for the role of protagonist instead of Terence Hill but he decided to refuse for family reasons: “Don Matteo is a regret. I refused because I didn't feel like staying eight months away from home in Gubbio, then I had a family and I didn't want to give up my wife and daughter. I am not sorry at all, ”he explained.
Magalli will also be involved in the afternoon quiz "One word too much" broadcast on Rai2.
