Negotiations still underway in view of the election, tomorrow in the Chamber, of the three Sardinian delegates called to vote for the head of state on January 24 in Rome.

In recent days, the respect of the consolidated practice that would have the presidents of the regional council and council, and the group leader of the most representative minority party, has been jeopardized in recent days. A conference of the group leaders convened by the president of the Assembly Michele Pais is scheduled shortly to arrive at a synthesis.

Meanwhile, meetings continue within the parties and between political forces from different sides. Some meetings will also take place after the group leaders' conference.

At the moment, among the three eligible candidates - the governor Solinas, the president Pais and the group leader dem Gianfranco Ganau - are at greater risk than Pais (Lega). Above all, the centrists insist on sending their own representative to Montecitorio.

Before the group leader there was instead a summit between opposition parties in which Valter Piscedda (Pd), Francesco Agus (Progressives), Eugenio Lai (LeU) and Roberto Li Gioi (M5s) took part. There is theoretically no foreclosure on the name of Ganau. But the Progressives place a condition: "A clear line of conduct to avoid at the root the possibility that the election of the delegates is vitiated by political alchemy and downward agreements, facilitated by the secret vote, which would be incomprehensible to citizens who trust in the our action ", they write in a note. Translated: good Ganau, but the Democratic Party does not make agreements with the centrists because "the utmost rigor is needed on these designations, we hope for maximum unity of the opposition parties".

Without a Pd-centrist agreement, Pais, strong in numbers, would have more chances to enter the triad of delegates.
