Quartu, Minister Franceschini: "In Sardinia, more investments in tourism and culture, not only in summer"

"These are crucial days for the electoral campaign in Sardinia because the challenge on single-member constituencies is played for a few votes". Thus, from Quartu Sant'Elena , the Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini (Pd).
"On the island - explained Franceschini - the Democratic Party is fighting a strong battle on the insularity front. In particular, we believe that we should invest in culture and tourism , not only in the season linked to the sea, but also in historical and archaeological beauties. and artistic ones that can lengthen the tourist season and bring economic growth all year round ".
It is, the minister pointed out, "a phenomenon that is already occurring : this September has numbers that resemble those of August".
To enhance the regional artistic heritage, he concluded, "collaboration between institutional levels is needed, above all there must be a commitment to the recovery and protection of the heritage ".
