"Enchantments" of words and notes between meetings, readings, workshops, concerts, insights, guided tours, theater, book presentations. Quartu Sant'Elena enhances its archaeological jewels in a cultural and tourist key with an exhibition that highlights two important coastal sites: the Nuraghe Diana and Villa Romana di Sant 'Andrea , on the Quartese coast. They are the setting for the third edition of the event sponsored by the Municipality from 13 August to 13 November.

Numerous dissemination initiatives with archaeologists and experts such as Giacomo Cavillier, Carlo Tronchetti, Gianfranca Salis, Carlo Lugliè and under the supervision of the Superintendency of Cagliari.

"Incanti" was presented by the councilor for the Territory Tiziana Cogoni representing the Quartese administration, by the head of the Archaeological Heritage of the Superintendency of Cagliari Gianfranca Salis and by the archaeologist Patrizia Zuncheddu, scientific manager of the review.

"The intent is to promote scientific dissemination and knowledge of the archaeological and historical heritage of our territory", explained Cogoni.

THE PROGRAM - On the agenda workshops on the techniques of painting and dyeing of fabrics in the Nuragic era, " treasure hunts " with the reproduction of archaeological finds, the observation of the Milky Way and the planets from the Nuraghe Diana.

"The idea is to build a circuit to enhance the historical-archaeological heritage of the entire Quartese territory, especially in the coastal area", added Gianfranca Salis , underlining "the position, dominant over the sea, in addition to the construction methods of the Nuraghe Diana, designed as an architectural unicum. Finally, the long living continuity, with successive transformations and stratifications from the Nuragic era to the Roman conquest ".

Also remembered on the occasion "the 890 million euro loan for the Nuraghi Circuit, one of the 38 major cultural heritage projects launched by the Mic and which also includes the Nuraghe Diana: a portion of those funds will be used to continue the excavation activities and the enhancement of the Quartese site ".
