Quartu: A decibel war breaks out at Poetto.
Protests, especially in Quartello and Margine Rosso, were caused by the noise coming from the kiosks.Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Here we go again. As summer enters its peak, the decibel war promptly breaks out. Because, despite ordinances and restrictions, the music in the Poetto bars is blasting until dawn.
And so residents in the areas closest to the seafront, from Quartello to Margine Rosso, are forced to spend sleepless nights.
In recent days, some have even filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office. Often, simply closing the windows isn't enough, which would be a problem anyway in the heat: not everyone is fortunate enough to have windows that block out outside noise.
On the night between Saturday and Sunday last, for example, at 5 o'clock the echoes of a "pounding and annoying" music were still reaching us.
And all around, piles of rubbish, left by groups of uncivilised people on the seafront after the evenings of dancing.
