An evening to get to know Bizet's Carmen better , through the story of the superintendent of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Nicola Colabianchi .
Tomorrow at 20.30, in the former Pretura regia of Pula , the superintendent of the Teatro Lirico Colabianchi will lead an unmissable evening of music under the stars, entitled "Invito all'opera", dedicated to the most famous pages taken from the opera Carmen, Georges Bizet's undisputed masterpiece which tells the story of the violent and morbid love between Carmen, a rebellious gypsy who pursues freedom, and the sergeant Don José.
The evening will be embellished by the presence of the mezzo-soprano Martina Belli (Carmen), of the tenor Mikheil Sheshaberidze (Don José) and of the baritone Askar Abradzakov (Escamillo) who, accompanied on the piano by maestro Matteo Londero, will alternate and sing the three main arias of the famous melodrama. The duration is approximately one hour.
Admission is free but reservations are required as places are limited.
