The rapper Salmo certainly lived an intense week, last Saturday in Emilia in the benefit concert for the flood victims, the first date of the summer tour on Wednesday in Ferrara, his thirty-ninth birthday, and yesterday the only date in his native Sardinia, in Cagliari, in concert moved to the Fair due to capacity issues.

The talent from Olbia, wearing Pavoletti's shirt, took the stage at 10pm, while a crowd of 7,000 people welcomed him loudly. «What do you think, does Cagliari take me? I would like to go back to playing football but I'm almost forty!".

The setting of the Fair is the one reserved for the great music stars, the only place capable of welcoming so many people in the capital. Because Salmo, by now, is absolutely a very important name on the Italian music scene.

In the twelve years since his first album released, he has managed to climb the charts, and has become one of the most influential rappers of the scene. He started his own music label, Machete, and was among the mentors of some of the most beloved new artists, including Lazza and Blanco. Three live albums to his credit, a parenthesis as an actor in Block 181 for which he also created the soundtrack.

A summer tour - after the success of the winter one in the arenas - with 17 dates and sold out almost everywhere. To accompany him on stage, his band Le Carie, composed by Frenetik on guitar, Jacopo Volpe on drums, Marco Azara on guitar, Dede on bass, Riccardo Puddu on keyboard, Dj Damianito on turntables, and Carmine Iuvone on cello.

A lineup of about 30 pieces, the live opening with Applause and Russell Crowe, followed by the most famous hits of his repertoire. An ecstatic audience, who jumped and sang their hearts out. Not only teenagers, but also adults of all ages, synonymous with how much he is appreciated as an artist.

«Only love Cagliari, only love for my land!». In fact, for the final he paid homage to his Sardinia with the song "The Island".

A two-hour live opened by the dj-set of Daniele Pessu, Spoli, Bmiken and Laddo. In the middle of the concert, Salmo himself gets on the console, because in addition to being a rapper he is now also a DJ with the pseudonym of Treeplo, his alter ego with a blonde wig, which fully represents his extravagance. A set divided between techno pieces and his own more rhythmic pieces. And the audience danced in the rain, as his "Canzone nostra" mentions.
