Three and a half years after the sensational "milk war" Sardinian shepherds returned to protest yesterday in via Roma, under the regional council building.

The price increases in energy and inflation that have caused production costs to rise dramatically are in the sights.

The council group of the Democratic Party has asked for an urgent discussion in the Chamber with the immediate allocation of resources "necessary to keep companies from dying" .

The dems say they are "worried about the mismanagement of resources that should help the survival of these companies" and point out that the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) in the 2023-2027 programming excludes aid for the sheep and goat farming sector , while the PSR provides for 115 million less appropriations for the island than in the previous one.

All this "creates a state of intolerable uncertainty, given that the loss or reduction of these resources would cause the collapse of many companies".
