Among the highlights of the 13th edition of the Porto Cervo Wine and Food Festival, which took place over the weekend and closed yesterday with great public success, the "Fuori Fiera" stand out.

Introduced last year, the idea was confirmed between big brands, themed evenings, conviviality, signature cocktails and DJ sets, and a concept of a widespread event which in 2024 involved the Hotel Cala di Volpe and the Piazzetta di Porto Cervo, where the festival moved after the tastings at the Cervo Conference Center. A winning formula that made it possible to further enhance Porto Cervo, which benefited from the arrival of operators, buyers and entrepreneurs, and visitors to the destination, who invaded the village in the evening for the first major event of the tourist season. “We believe it was a winning and far-sighted choice, because it produced an increase in the visibility and notoriety of the event, allowing the destination to be known to a wider audience and to promote its tourist attractions”, underlines Franco Mulas, Area Costa Smeralda manager and creator of the festival.

“By organizing events outside the high season it is possible to attract tourist segments even in periods of lower attendance. The “Fuori Fiera” – adds Mulas – encourage visitors to stay longer in the destination, taking advantage of a wider and more varied offer with a consequent positive impact on job and business opportunities for local and network companies”.

The performance of Enrico Ruggeri, the musical star of the gala dinner held on Saturday evening at the Hotel Cala di Volpe, was also highly appreciated: among the songs proposed by the Milanese artist were "The Night Porter" and "The Doubts of Love" , “Primavera a Sarajevo”, “Peter Pan” and “Mistero”, with which Ruggeri won the Sanremo Festival in 1993.
