Roberto Martinez is the new coach of Portugal.

The Spaniard, born in Balaguer on 13 July 1973, former coach of Belgium, was presented today and is the third foreign coach after Otto Gloria and Felipe Scolari.

Martinez, who had ended his adventure on the bench of the red devils with the elimination already at the end of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar, takes the place of Fernando Santos.

The latter led the Lusitanians until the last World Cup before the termination in mid-December.
