Porto Torres: the show "Io, Pollicino" is on stage at the theater
A performance for families, girls and boys aged 2 and up
On Sunday 7 April at 6pm the show of The barrel and the cylinder entitled "Io, Pollicino" arrives at the Andrea Parodi municipal theater in Porto Torres. The performance for families, girls and boys aged 2 and up, is part of the theater season organized by the La camera chiara association.
The show was written by Consuelo Pittalis and directed by Pier Paolo Conconi. A child alone and lost in the woods tells his story lived between fear and the cold. He's alone and small but he doesn't give up. Armed with courage and great cunning, he will face the obstacles that life offers him on a journey that is also a path towards maturity and autonomy from parental figures.
With a completely original rewriting and through the suggestions created by the music and the proposed imagery, we want to highlight the message that this fairy tale has always brought to listeners of all ages: «However great our "ogres" may be , the courage to face them will always lead us to win over them."
On stage: with Consuelo Pittalis, Stefano Chessa and Luisella Conti. The costumes are by Luisella Conti, the sets by Nadia Imperio, the musical arrangements by Mario Chessa dei Bertas, the lighting design is by Paolo Palitta and the set design and sound engineering are by Michele Grandi.
