The Aragonese Tower, the old Market in the site of the current Town Hall of Porto Torres, and then the thousand-year-old basilica of San Gavino, one of the many precious historical monuments, symbol of the city.

A journey followed by a group of visitors who participated yesterday evening, Friday 15 December, in the “Tour. Turris, Torres, Porto Torres” , a journey told through stories and anecdotes, starting from the “Nino Pala” maritime station and continuing along Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

A visit in stages on foot, a "Tour of memories" where the participants transformed into real guides , a real contribution to the expert staff of Historical Memory, the cooperative society managing the municipal cultural and tourist services.

They explored familiar streets guided by local enthusiasts who recounted personal experiences, all enriched by laughter, emotional memories and applause. The squares, alleys and buildings came to life with unique stories. From childhood memories to teenage adventures, each participant donated a special piece of their story to the community.
