Discussion today in the Regional Council on the motion of Cesare Moriconi, of the Democratic Party, which commits the governor and the president of the Assembly to take the most appropriate initiatives in order to promote the elaboration of a complementary plan for Sardinia. The majority took up the challenge of the opposition regarding the NRP: “It is necessary to ensure that the Regional Council plays a decisive role in uniting all the parties, including the social ones, to lay the foundations for a future project. We still have time, in the implementation phase, to ask for what is right for our Region and to ensure that the NRR is a great opportunity and can reduce the gap ", said the councilor for planning Giuseppe Fasolino.

In the end, the motion was not voted on but the center-right majority (the UDC, in controversy, remained outside the Chamber against "the inaction of the Council and the commissions) shares and partially accepts the contents.

Michele Pais, president of the regional council, after a conference of the group leaders undertook to "set up a working group of regional councilors, equally represented, to draft a shared text that will give a perspective of the future, purified from exploitation and taking into account the times constraints imposed by the Pnrr time schedule ".

The motion retraces the steps leading to what the opposition group leaders call "the failure of the Region in terms of European funds". But Fasolino wanted to point out that "at national level there has been a lack of consultation on the NRP with the Regions, and we have denounced it from the beginning, but now, in the implementation phase, Minister Giorgetti also declared it, there is the 'intention to remedy ".

There was no shortage of appeals to unity: Stefano Schirru of the Psd'Az (and chairman of the Budget Committee) called for "getting out of the exchange of mutual accusations:" We want to convene the general states, an extraordinary session of the Council open to parliamentarians and parties Let's do it by the summer, the important thing is that it is a concrete moment. But before the budget adjustment is approved ".

Harsh criticism of Solinas, who was absent, came from the center-left minority. Moriconi himself, illustrating the motion, defined the governor's protest in the Senate Public Works Committee on funds for the railways "belated, clumsy and not credible." Massimo Zedda (Progressives) then recalled that "all our appeals have so far fallen on deaf ears".
