More than 1.2 billion euros will be assigned to Sardinia by the Ministry of Infrastructures and Sustainable Mobility which, after having received the ok from the Unified Conference, outlined the acts of distribution and allocation of resources, equal to 60.1 billions of euros, of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and of the Complementary Plan.

The resources will be allocated to digitization, innovation, competitiveness, culture and tourism projects for an amount of 62 million, green revolution and ecological transition for 455.4 million, infrastructures for sustainable mobility for 628.2 million and cohesion and inclusion programs for 56.4 million.

In particular, on the first measure, the project envisages investments for historical itineraries and slow tourism for the entire amount of the foreseen funding; on the measure two 138.2 million for renewing the bus fleet, 15.2 million for trains and 42.4 million for cycling. Then again 56.3 million for public housing, 203.2 million for reservoirs and sustainable management of water resources; on mission 3 (infrastructure), there are 458 million for railways, control systems and technological upgrading, 170.2 million for interventions on ports and cold ironing; finally on the cohesion and inclusion front (mission 5), 42.2 million are foreseen for the innovative program for the quality of living (Pinqua), 10 million for the recently established Special Economic Zone , and 4.2 million for the internal areas.
