Advance ticket sales have opened for the Pink Floyd Legend concert, on tour with The Dark Side of the Moon, which will be held at the Fiera di Cagliari on July 17.
Since March 2022, the concert has hosted more than 40 thousand spectators - in addition to the complete performance of the 1973 masterpiece, Legend will also perform all the greatest hits of the English band, accompanied by the original vintage videos projected on the large circular screen and immersed in the new light and laser design.
The Italian band, recognized by critics and the public as the best interpreters of Pink Floyd's masterpieces , is composed of Fabio Castaldi (vocals and bass), Alessandro Errichetti (vocals and guitars), Simone Temporali (vocals and keyboards), Paolo Angioi (guitars, bass and backing vocals) and Emanuele Esposito (drums). The ensemble is completed by Giorgia Zaccagni, Daphne Nisi Mete and Claudia Marss on backing vocals and Maurizio Leoni on solo saxophone. Considered as Pink Floyd's absolute masterpiece, The dark side of the moon is an album that has entered into legend for the number of copies sold, for the recording technique, for the themes proposed, for its beauty and, in some ways, also for the simplicity of the melodies, which marks the beginning of Pink Floyd's artistic maturity.
In the last four years alone, with their shows dedicated to the Pink Floyd universe they can boast over 130 thousand spectators . Each tour - produced by Gilda Petronelli of Menti Associate - is an event: from Atom Heart Mother with choir and orchestra to The Dark Side of the Moon - 50th Anniversary Tour, from Live at Pompei with the original vintage instruments of the time to the tour for the 40th anniversary of Animals with the reproduction of the Battersea Power Station, created in video mapping and projected on a screen over 15 meters wide by over 6 meters high (with "real vapors" coming out of the 4 white chimneys for the entire duration of the concert), up to Shine Pink Floyd Moon, the rock opera by Micha van Hoecke that sees them on stage together with Raffaele Paganini and the dancers of the Compagnia Daniele Cipriani.
