Physical activity for everyone: the "SportPerTutti" project presented in Sassari
An initiative dedicated especially to those who cannot afford it
Reactivate the territories and citizens from a physical and social point of view after the acute phase of Covid.
Especially the subjects most at risk of exclusion , those who cannot afford to join gyms. This is the goal of the national project “SportPerTutti” : a network of collaborations and initiatives to support accessibility to sporting activity in 15 regions with the involvement of 26 Uisp territorial committees. Among these there is also Sassari which is already active , as explained in the press conference at the Chamber of Commerce.
Two pilot actions have already been activated. The territorial sports entertainer made contact with municipalities and local health authorities to plan and organize free physical activities for small groups : in Sassari, walks and gymnastics in the parks of via Venezia, via Montello and via Enzo. Uisp also managed to get five children from Osilo who did not have the possibilities to do sports.
The second action is the publication of a notice called "Voucher for all" which gives the right to a contribution of 100 euros that can be spent at amateur sports associations, whether or not they are affiliated with Uisp.
