«Mom I need a thousand euros. I sent them right away. Only later did I discover that I had been a victim of artificial intelligence which perfectly imitated the voice of my daughter, resident in the Principality of Monaco." Thus begins the story of Maria Grazia Abis, 70 years old, resident in Sardara. A strange case, yes, but it was the girl's voice that convinced the woman, who was begging for help on the other end of the phone.

The story

«I was at home, I called my daughter. Suddenly he said he felt something strange in the phone, definitely a fault. Communication stopped. She recovered almost immediately. This time with voice messages. The voice was the same. She was my daughter. He needed money."

So the woman collected the sum and sent it.

«Then I called her, asked if she had received the money. And she started peppering me with questions: “What money are you talking about? Mom, I didn't ask you anything." At that point I realized it was a scam . I went to the police station and filed a complaint. I won't get my money back, it seemed right to me to tell my experience to warn mothers."
