The sparks of an electoral campaign that has not yet started are lit on the pig. Those caught at a distance are the regional secretary of the Democratic Party, Piero Comandini, and the president of the Sardinian Action Party, Antonio Moro.

The first yesterday evening was in Tramatza, at the regional assembly of the party, which voted on the decalogue with the criteria for choosing the gubernatorial candidate for the centre-left. The second, however, is fresh from yesterday morning's Sardinian convention at the Cagliari Fair: here the governor Christian Solinas claimed his right to ensure that the centre-right coalition presents itself at the Regional elections with a Sardinian leader. And it is always here, in the square outside the pavilion, that numerous pigs were roasted for the "snack" at the end of the rallies, which was attended by two thousand (according to the organizers) participants.

The food and wine part of the Sardinian convention triggered the reaction of Comandini, who during the meeting of the Dem management said: «We need alliances», he explained to his men, «of course, we could do like Solinas who to bring 1500 people to the Fair has to roast 2000 piglets. However, we don't roast, we don't participate in snacks: we are a serious alternative."

A blow that triggered the reaction of the Sardinian president Moro, Councilor for Transport, who joined Solinas on stage: «I want to communicate to the secretary of the so-called democratic party», he replies on social media, «that over 2000 Sardinians were present at the Fair, carried only by their enthusiasm and pride. The Sardinian people, like those of all the other parties, I believe always deserve the respect of the leaders and representatives in the institutions, whatever political force they represent". Then the dialectical counter-move: «In any case, Comandini should remain calm and know that the Sardistas whom he portrays as hungry more for food than for politics, continue to prefer roast to boiled meat, and that therefore his safety is safe».

From post to message. Having read Moro on social media, Comandini relaunches: «The President of the Psd'Az loses his ability for irony and reading, and given that he takes it so much, perhaps he has a bit of a problem».
The PD secretary distances himself from the hypothesis of «offending the Sardinian people and sardism, for which I have a lot of respect. For its history and tradition. The real offense, the greatest offense comes to all Sardinians without distinction from those who brought this glorious story to Pontida. My statement", he concludes, "simply underlined that we have different ways of bringing our people together, there are those who do it with roasts and snacks, others who just do it because what matters is not the cooking method but the quality of the raw material that can be roasted, boiled and even... “stewed”».
