Cagliari led 2-1 over Perugia after the first 45 minutes, thanks to goals from Pavoletti and Lapadula.
Liverani loses Di Pardo due to adductor fatigue and then confirms Zappa on the right. In midfield, Makoumbou in control flanked by Nandez and Deiola, while in front Falco plays in support of Pavoletti and Lapadula. It is played in an unreal atmosphere, with the north curve empty in protest.
Perugia got off to a strong start and the first boos rained down on Cagliari when in the 3' minute Olivieri peeled the ball from a good position. In the 11th minute the rossoblùs are seen with Lapadula, who commits Gori. Chills in the 14th minute, with Olivieri on the counterattack, but the right foot goes wide.
In the 20th minute, however, Cagliari unlocked: action by Nandez on the right, brushstroke for Pavoletti who headed 1-0. The goal animates the rossoblù who first come close to doubling with a high left foot from Pavoletti and then find it (27') with Lapadula, who takes advantage of a rebound and slips Gori in. Not even time to cheer and Capradossi )29') misses a back pass, serving the ball to make it 2-1 to Strizzolo.
Perugia starts to hope again, but in the final first Nandez and then Lapadula are blocked by Gori with a spectacular bicycle kick. And we go to rest at 2-1.
