It's a celebration for the thirtieth anniversary of the Stintino rowing association: the celebration event will be held on Saturday 14 October, from 10 am, in front of the D'Azzena beach.

A splendid setting where residents and visitors will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of rowing, experiencing a day of sport and passion as protagonists.

The day begins with the Open Days to get to know the world of rowers. From 12pm in Stintino a spectacular parade will present the different boats, highlighting their history and traditional use.

Among the boats there will be the Lancione di Golfo Aranci with 10 rowers and Marina di Tilibbas Olbia Chiattini. The highlight will be at 1pm with the Gozzi Nazionale regatta, divided into male and female categories. After the competitions, all the boats will be available for those who wish to try their hand at a rowing experience. An expert will always be on board to ensure safety and provide valuable information.

The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Stintino, will also be an opportunity for conviviality: food stands will offer drinks and sandwiches to participants, allowing everyone to spend a day full of fun and discovery.

Last October 8, the young Stintino Simone Lintas participated in the prestigious "Italian Cup Gaetano Rissotto Trophy" in Genoa. He competed as second rower in a rowing race on a fixed seat gozzo, honorably representing Southern Italy together with teammates from Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia.

His presence among the ranks of rowers at a national level is a powerful message for our seaside village: the traditions are alive and vibrant, and can be reinvigorated and renewed by the energy and passion of the youngest.
