The President of Consob Paolo Savona will give the opening speech of the summer school of Economics and law on risks, regulation and financial stability of the University of Cagliari , scheduled in the Sardinian capital   from Monday 26 to Friday 30 June and directed by Riccardo De Lisa and Giuseppe Boccuzzi.

The appointment with Paolo Savona is for 26 June at 2 pm in the Aula Magna of the university's Rectorate building, in via Università 40. The seminar intends to take stock of the challenges of financial banking, the biodiversity of the financial system and on the proportionality of regulation .

After the greetings of the Rector Francesco Mola and the intervention of Professor Savona, representatives of the Bank of Italy, the ABI, Italian banks and insurance companies and the Academy will intervene, including Alessandro Carretta (University of Rome “Tor Vergata”), Mario Stella Richter (President of the Interbank Deposit Protection Fund), Giovanni Sala (Head of Banking Supervision Service 2, Bank of Italy), Gianfranco Torriero , Deputy Director General of ABI, the economist Rainer Stefano Masera , the Chairman of the Unipol Carlo Cimbri Group, Camillo Venesio (CEO and director of Banca del Piemonte).

The Summer School is divided into four study days around the central themes of risks, regulation and the preparation necessary to deal with difficult situations, prevention and management of crisis situations. It is characterized by an integrated approach that combines the experience of qualified operators with the most recent theoretical contributions. Over 40 speakers from academia, banks and financial intermediaries, national and European supervisory and resolution authorities, deposit guarantee schemes, European and international institutions, professionals from the world of consultancy will take turns during the various study days in the financial sector.
