A story that opens with the verses of Sappho and continues in isulanu , a variant of Gallura, written by a Maddalena native of Genoese origin: Domenico Battaglia ; “Tra infernu e paradisu” (Between Hell and Paradise ) won first place at the “Ozieri Prize for Sardinian Literature” , “Tonino Ledda – Prose” section. It is the story of two young friends, Marina and Lilli, who live in an unspecified town, in recent times; “a story - wrote the jury - «that leaves little to rhetoric or condemnation, but follows events and gossip, because fate will do justice».

Domenico Battaglia is a writer and poet who has won several awards in regional and national competitions. Salvatore Murgia won first place in the section “Antoni Cubeddu – Between poetry and càntigu”, while the scepter of the section “Antoni Sanna – Poetry” went to Antonello Isoni. The closing ceremony of the 65th edition of the Award took place last Saturday, November 23, at the civic theater "Oriana Fallaci" in Ozieri, during which the delivery of “su pannu” took place to the 9 authors who ranked first in the three competing sections.

The ceremony was presented by Piersandro Pillonca, in the presence of the judges Dino Manca (president) Anna Cristina Serra (vice), Cristiano Becciu, Antonio Canalis, Duilio Caocci, Clara Farina, Attilio Mastino, Riccardo Mura, Giambernardo Piroddi, Simone Pisano, Gabriele Tanda, Salvatore Tola.
