Action, rolling. For a few days the city center will be the set of “Portobello”, an eagerly awaited Rai series inspired by the famous television program hosted by Enzo Tortora and which will bring to the screen the legal events that unjustly involved the famous presenter.
The filming, directed by the well-known director Marco Bellocchio, and produced by Our Films and Kavac Film, with the support of the Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission, will stop in the city of Eleonora from 22 to 30 October and will require some temporary changes to the road system to allow the parking of technical and artistic vehicles.
The head of the local police, Gianni Uras, signed the ordinance that includes several prohibitions between the historic center and the area behind the San Martino hospital. The restrictions will affect some sections of via Angioy, via Duomo, vicolo Martignano, via Carmine, via Carlo Meloni and via Emilio Lussu, where parking and stopping will be limited in certain time slots, for the time strictly necessary for registration. On via Carmine on October 29 and 30, from 8:00 to 21:00, road traffic will be completely suspended. Pedestrian traffic will be diverted to alternative routes.
Meanwhile, casting calls are still open to participate in the series set in the 80s: the production is looking for male figures between the ages of 20 and 70.
