Sunday at 14.30 great appointment of Sardinian football: at "Nespoli" there is Olbia-Torres, Serie C Group B derby. To present it, during "L'Informatore Sportivo" on Radiolina, two great exes took part: Salvatore Sechi, now president of the Temple but who saved the Sassari from bankruptcy, and Simone Pinna full-back born in '97 of Tharros with a past in Gallura.

«I have experienced many Olbia-Torres derbies and others are missing, see those with Nuorese and Tempio: we hope to be able to bring football back to Sardinia, so the derbies are such. It's very nice, on the island, when parochialism works in football», says Sechi, who does not indicate favourites: «There can be any result, but let's hope it is a great show». Pinna, on the other hand, played the challenge in Olbia, also in 2016 when it was the final playoff of D and with that success he obtained the promotion: «I was disqualified, the only time I had to follow him from the grandstand. Then I played others against Arzachena and Nuorese, both in C and in D. Who wins? Every derby cannot be judged, whoever takes the field decides it: predictions and standings are not talked about during the week ». On yesterday's Euro goal by Daniele Ragatzu: «I heard it, but there was no need for him to score from a bicycle kick to make it clear who he is».

In the field. Pinna had started the season as a free agent, then went to COS in D and now to Tharros in Eccellenza: «An agreement to finish the championship, having failed to return to C in January. Having a seven-month-old baby, I preferred this choice and started again in July with the championship just around the corner: I've always lived on football and I humbly accepted this situation».

On the red and whites: «The ranking does not reflect the value of the team, for some reason we found ourselves in this position which was even more deficient before. With the new coach we gave a swerve, now let's try to save ourselves as soon as possible ». Pinna recalls his period at Cagliari, in 2019-2020: «After demonstrating that I could stay there, even as a bet from the club because I came from C, I never came to know why I no longer had the opportunity to demonstrate how much I had done in the field. The best memories are the standing ovation of the stadium and the warmth of the club that instantly renewed my contract».

The patron. Sechi recounts how he is managing the Temple after his years at Torres: «The task is not easy. My football adventure, which went from C with Torres to this Promotion championship that I didn't know, made me understand that all categories are complicated and you can't win just by building squads. I faced the Temple in C2 with Torres, this territory has remained in my heart and I was sad to know that football had disappeared here, so I offered to lend a hand. The history of football in Sardinia is made up of many communities now in a difficult moment, such as the Nuorese: just to return to the glories of the past".
