Two municipalities with more than fifteen thousand inhabitants to vote on June 12, but it will not be a test for the council led by Christian Solinas: if anything, for the coalitions. Oristano and Selargius have always been strongholds of the center-right which once again are the favorites, despite the fact that in the first case it is very difficult to summarize a candidate.
Twenty days after the presentation of the lists there is still no name, and the Oristano case could end up straight on the agenda of the national table engaged in these days to manage the scenario of Sicily where, in the main Municipalities involved (Palermo and Messina ), the coalition is shattered.
Balances
In Sardinia a question of balance arises: in Cagliari there is a mayor of Fratelli d'Italia, in Olbia of Forza Italia, Selargius is moving towards a confirmation of the outgoing Gigi Concu (Forza Italia) without the support of the Psd'Az. And in Oristano? The Lega could also have its say. "It is important to guarantee the presence of all political forces in the area", declares the regional coordinator Dario Giagoni, announcing that "we will present our candidate next week". The centers called to the polls are 66, two hundred thousand Sardinians mobilized. In the two with more than fifteen thousand inhabitants there is the possibility of a second round of ballot scheduled for Sunday 26 June. Oristano is the province with the most centers (19) for the renewal of mayors and municipal councils, followed by Sassari (16), South Sardinia (14), Nuoro (13) and the Metropolitan City of Cagliari (3).
The decree
June 12 will be election day: administrative and the five referendums on justice on the same day. The scrutiny of the vote will start from the referendum, as emerges from the draft decree for the election day, while the scrutiny relating to the administrative ones will start from 2 pm on Monday 13. The draft of the decree also dictates the anti-Covid rules to allow full voting security and providing for the allocation of 38 million to sanitize the seats. Furthermore, subscriptions for the presentation of lists and candidacies will be reduced to one third only for municipal authorities. On the other hand, the experimentation on electronic voting should be postponed to 2023.
