Electronic sound and straight case, for a singer-songwriter, intimate and reflective story.

It is a winning combo that of Olly, a young Genoese singer-songwriter, revelation of the year after his participation in Sanremo with the song "Polvere" (platinum record) and today engaged in a summer tour which, this evening, will take him to the Imaracuja Club in Budoni together with his trusted producer Jvli for an unprecedented evening in DJ set format.

An absolute debut on the Island for Olly, aka Federico Olivieri, ready to make us dance on the wave of the most heated songs of his latest work "Gira, il mondo gira". «I had been to Sardinia as a child with my family and I couldn't wait to go back, even to take a little vacation with friends», Olly told us. "The DJ set? It's a new experience and I want to live it trying to have as much fun as possible and make you dance with my most uptempo songs, lots of remixes and mash-ups with super popular songs».

In the lineup there will also be the new single "Tutto con te". Tell us about it?

«It closes a large circle and is an invitation to the listener not to be influenced in finding the person with whom to share experiences and feel free to be».

In the video, in fact, we see her exchanging tenderness with a mature woman.

«Yes, a beautiful octogenarian and it caused a sensation, but that was precisely the goal. There were those who understood the message and enjoyed it and those who, on the other hand, experienced it as something negative, leaving hateful comments, a reaction I expected. I wanted to show that, in today's perfectly fair world, when you try to do something outside the box, you still end up being attacked."

Mom a magistrate, dad a lawyer, your brother studies law, how did you become a musician?

“By listening to dinner talks and not understanding anything! (laughs) No, actually my parents always made me feel free to do what I wanted, but assuming my responsibilities».

In his songs he often talks about his frailties, which is unusual for a 22-year-old boy.

«I'm not afraid to do it, because it's one of the few moments where I succeed. I think my fears are those of all kids my age: the fear of tomorrow and of what happened yesterday, which doesn't allow us to live well today. What I would like to do is start some therapy, to go deeper into certain areas of myself and understand myself more. I say it publicly, hoping that it will also entice others ».

What role does music play in all of this?

«I could say therapeutic, but the truth is that I feel accomplished doing it. Each time it's an entire love story: the meeting, the infatuation, falling in love with the melodies, the atmosphere that is created, the effort and commitment it takes to build a relationship, therefore a song, and the satisfaction of seeing it born. Then we try to make him grow up well and when he comes out it's time to let him go free in the world, a bit like a child».
