According to initial reports, Olbia has been excluded from the Eccellenza championship. The exclusion is expected to be made official today by the Federation through a press release that will simultaneously certify Usinese's repechage.

It was well known that problems had arisen during the registration process. Now we await the FIGC's ruling, to determine the reasons—if any—for the over-100-year-old Gallura club's denial of admission to the top regional soccer tournament.

In the last three years, Olbia has experienced two changes of ownership—from Alessandro Marino to SwissPro in November 2023 and from SwissPro to Prosoccer last January—and two relegations, one direct—from Serie C to Serie D in the 2023/24 season—and one in the playouts—from Serie D to Eccellenza in the 2025/26 season. A sporting decline that could culminate today in exclusion, forcing the Whites to restart from the Second or Third Division.
