Everything is ready for filming, and tomorrow morning the action begins: clapperboard rolls in the historic center of Olbia, where the film 'Grown Ups 3' takes center stage. Directed by Kyle Newacheck, the Netflix film features an all-star cast, including Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek.
At the center of the set is Piazza Matteotti, transformed into the heart of an Italian village in the midst of a festival: the Trivenere sculpture by Varalto has given way to a water figure, and the shops and establishments overlooking the fountain have become bookshops, ice cream parlors, taverns, and village shops. These are closed to the public but compensated by the production, which also occupied Piazza Mercato to use as a logistics headquarters, and the Archaeological Museum, set up as dressing rooms for extras and actors arriving in town tomorrow morning.
From 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., traffic is suspended on Via Regina Elena, in the section in front of Piazza Matteotti, and on Via Fausania. Pedestrian traffic will also be prohibited on Via Cavour and Via Sassari during certain times of the day, until 7:00 p.m.
