There has been a leap forward, with the latest update in recent days. But Sardinia remains among the slowest regions in terms of NRRP progress: payments are at 28%, with less than a year to go until the completion of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. In June 2026, Brussels will pay the 27 EU member states the tenth and final installment, bringing the total amount of the Italian NRRP to €194.4 billion.

This economic component combines two different lines of action : one internal, with 9,980 investments to be made on the island, totaling 4 billion; the other external, given that the remaining 570 million are the Sardinian share of the 138 transregional projects, bringing the total number of projects to 10,118.
